I took a "sick day" yesterday and just stayed home. Later this afternoon, I will be helping a couple from the small group pack as they need to move out of their house next week. Apparently, gang members have been hanging out in their backyard and the police told them not to approach the gang.

ReplyDeletekind of. i feel bad for my friends because they had to move, but they actually found a cheaper, bigger place somewhere else!
ReplyDeleteand frankly, in these economic times, i don't feel quite so bad for people who have more than one house. i mean, there are people who don't own a single property.
I agree with that even if I do sound harsh. Much of the economic problems seem directly related to greed ... and in the end, the really needy AND hardworking seem to be the ones who are hit the worst. *sigh* messed up world
ReplyDeleteyeah, especially when rent is going down!!!!!!! property prices and salaries might be down but rent is still going up. it truly sucks.
